Bringing Light and Stability
Our solar solution has safely arrived in Sierra Leone! This project will bring consistent electricity to the orphanage, giving the children light to study after dark and allowing caregivers to keep the home running smoothly and safely.
We are currently in the process of installing the system. Two small parts were not included with the shipment, but Elgin has already purchased them and arranged for someone traveling to Sierra Leone to deliver them soon. Once those parts arrive, the installation can be completed and the lights will be turned on!
The solar project is more than just electricity, it represents safety, stability, and a better quality of life for every child at EKMOI.
