Who We Are

Esther KaiKai Memorial Outreach, Inc. is a Christian based nonprofit organization dedicated to help the women and children of Sierra Leone, West Africa overcome impoverished circumstances such as collapsed educational system, diminished food supply and economic instability. We believe that if we begin with the children, we can help restore an entire nation.

What We Do

1. We Provide Home

We provide the children of Sierra Leone a loving and stable home environment through the generous support of our givers. We also provide micro-loans to the women of Sierra Leone to start their own business.

2. We Feed

We provide them food supply to reduce the spread of malnutrition.

3. We Educate

We teach them how to overcome destitute circumstances and how to become contributing members of a global society.

4. We Encourage

We show them the biblical truth and hope through Jesus Christ.

5. We Provide Care

We provide them the necessary life skills, medical and mental health services.

6. We Empower

We build up their self-confidence and help them develop their skills to become leaders of the next generation.

Orphanage Building Construction Project

Significant progress has been made in the orphanage building construction in Sierra Leone because of the generosity of our givers and their continued prayers. The construction of the 22,000-square foot home for orphaned children is 40% complete. This home will house, feed and educate 200+ children.

The third phase of the construction project will require $750,000 to bring it to completion. Will you help us get this home built for these precious children?

Your gift of support today will help us complete the next phase of the orphanage building construction. Again, thank you for your generous giving and continued prayers.

A Child's life Story

A Story of Francis Mosema

A Brighter Future — For Sierra Leone’s Children

Esther KaiKai Memorial Outreach is changing the trajectory of children’s lives. Here’s the story about an 11-year old boy by the name of Francis Mosema. He was born on May 25, 2009 and lives in a small village called Gbongboma located 7 miles away from Bo City, Sierra Leone.

A few months before Francis was born, his father was struck and killed by a car as he was on his way to the city to sell charcoal to provide for his family. During Francis’ birth, his mother passed away due to poor medical attention, so he never got to meet any of his parents.

He was abandoned because according to the family’s traditions, a child born with Francis’ circumstances is considered cursed, and his birth has brought much sorrow in the family so no one wanted him.

After much thought, his aunt Madie Mosema went against the family’s wishes and decided to be responsible for Francis and raise him. His aunt couldn’t fully care for or provide for him so Francis automatically became a farmer at the age of seven. Francis would wake up at 5:30 am and walk 2 miles each way every day to go to work at the farm from morning until evening.

Everybody knew him as the only child that works full time on the farm while other children went to school.

Having to grow up quickly, Francis never experienced being a child. One day, he was working at the farm when one of his friends ran to him and informed him about Esther KaiKai Memorial Outreach. He walked from his village and came to introduce himself as an orphan and asked to be a part of the program. After some investigation about his story, Francis was accepted into our program. He started learning to read and write. Through the support of the ministry, he is thriving and has been truly transformed. Francis now has a great future and only goes to work on the farm occasionally.

Will You Help Us Provide a Home to 200+ Children?
