At our EKMOI orphanage in Sierra Leone, life is bustling with love, learning, and a touch of farm life. Home to 25 children, we’ve built a small animal farm that not only helps sustain us but also teaches responsibility and care.
Our farm includes eight goats, 42 chickens, two ducks, and three loyal dogs. Each morning, the goats are let out to graze and return to their shelters by evening. The chickens provide fresh eggs, while the children help care for the animals as part of their daily routine.
Life here is simple but purposeful. We cook outdoors to keep the house cool, pump fresh water from a well, and gather for daily Bible studies that nurture the children’s faith. Every part of our day is designed to create a nurturing, sustainable environment where these children can thrive.
We are grateful to our friends and partners for supporting this mission. Your contributions make it possible for us to invest in the next generation and provide a loving, faith-filled home.
