Today marks an exciting milestone for the EKMOI project as we begin clearing and leveling the land in preparation for fencing our two-acre property. This essential step not only ensures the safety of our children but also opens up possibilities for future developments.
The excavator is hard at work leveling the land, transforming the terrain into a secure and functional space. One of the primary goals is to lower a high ridge of dirt, which will allow us to utilize the area for various purposes, including potential shops that can generate income to support the ministry.
Despite recent setbacks, such as fuel shortages and vehicle challenges, progress is underway, and the children have been actively involved every step of the way. Their enthusiasm and ownership of the project highlight the shared commitment to building a brighter future.
Once the land is fully leveled, fencing will begin, bringing us closer to providing a safe and welcoming environment for the children and staff. This marks the start of an exciting new chapter, as we continue to build a space filled with hope and opportunity.
