This year's fundraising is geared toward starting the finishes of the orphanage.
Some of the items on our list are:
- Windows, doors, all light fixtures
- Kitchen cabinets & appliances
- Living room furniture
- Dining room furniture
- 50 beds
- 30 commodes
- Office furniture for security room, administrative
room, & receptionist room - Music equipment for music room
- Wall and floor tiles
- Solar panels & generator
- Entrance gates
- Water tanks
- Rain water harvest systems
- 50-seater bus
- 2 SUV or utility vehicles
- Operating costs for 2 security guards and 10 staff
- Upkeep and day-to-day operation of the orphanage
- We also need to fence the entire 2-acre land and pave the streets surrounding the property
Registration
This fundraising has three levels of sponsorship from which you can choose to register:
- $50 at the Patron level
- $80 at the Chief Patron level
- $100 or more at the Grand Chief Patron level
Your registration includes a FREE dinner and your gift of support toward the orphanage building project. 100% of your contribution goes toward the building project and is tax deductible.
Patron - $50
$50 for the cost of bags of cement for building plastering and fence blocks. For example, if 360 people give $50, we will have $18,000 which will purchase 1,500 bags of cement for plastering of building and blocks to fence 2 acres of land. Not including labor cost.
Chief Patron - $80
$80 for the cost of ceiling Sheetrock materials and labor. For example, if 360 people give $80, we will have $28,800 which will purchase 625 pieces of ceiling Sheetrock materials plus labor cost.
Grand Chief Patron - $100 or more
$100 or more for the cost of interior flooring of the building. For example, if 360 people give $100, we will have $36,000 to purchase the interior flooring of the 14,000-sq ft building. Not including labor cost.
**Please note that these cost are just a fraction of what is needed to get the next building phase started.
